Though the it tote craze didn’t really take hold until a couple of years after, in the turn of the century Miuccia Prada sent the first it bag of down the century her Spring/Summer 2000 runway show. A entirely different shape, with curved lines and an oddly satisfying streamlined design, the Prada Bowling Bag was inspired by a genuine bowling bag. No sooner did the tote make its way off the runway that consumers began planning to buy if it hit stores. When the bag did property in stores, it sold out immediately and the waitlist rose through the day.
Although there was a short reissue of this bag in 2012 to celebrate the Met’s Impossible Conversations exhibit alongside eight of Prada’s other greatest hits, the official reintroduction of the Prada Bowling Bag is slated for its Resort 2020 year old. 20 decades later and this tote provides the ideal touch of nostalgia spruced up as a mid-century century classic.

Majority of bags fall into specific shape groups and few stray from these expected shapes since they are tested and tried. The Bowling Bag differs, and in this situation different is a really good thing. The pairing of a Modernist design with nods to classic sweeping automobile chassis, the Bowling Bag is as intriguing to check at as it is to carry. The semi-circle shape attracts your attention immediately as do the panels of leather that change the bag into a more artistic design (in majority of the offerings in contrasting colours ).
Offered in nice soft calf leather, the re-imagined Bowling Bag offers what old-school and modern-day Prada fans adore about the newest. Prada’s calf leather is a number of the most supple, durable, and delicious leather any brand provides. The leather is one which makes you need to grab it and examine it, and this is where Prada shines. The dual top zipper pull is thick, so simple to maneuver and of premium quality. There is a tab where the zipper track ends designed for somewhere to rest the metal zipper pulls. Launch the bag is easy and though the bag does not split open wide with simplicity (like other contours do), the shape allows for ample interior space and easy finding of your items.
There are two sizes of this Prada Bowling Bag; the bigger of the two has double top handles and a optional removable shoulder strap, while the smaller only has a single adjustable shoulder strap. The bigger would work well as a regular or work tote, offering Prada nylon logo lining along with a zip pocket on either side. The smaller is great for the wearer who does not need to carry much but loves this shape and includes a single interior slide pocket (no zippers here!) .
Though single colorways are available, the dual colorways offered comprise white with black, cognac with white, white, white with reddish, and black with whitepink with white.
The elegant simplicity paired with the sportiness of this Bowling bag combines to create a showstopping layout, one which brings sense of nostalgia to longtime handbag aficionados like myself but does not feel dated. What is old is new again and in such a instance it feels like the Prada Bowling Bag never left, and that’s a fantastic thing. read more

The brand has introduced Replica Gucci MX, a project that caters to non-binary consumers, dissolving the traces of the gender split, while placing an emphasis on the importance of self-expression.
Over the past few seasons, Michele’s collections have attempted to deconstruct preconceived binaries, questioning how these notions relate to our style choices and self reflection. Most recently, the brand revealed its Jackie 1961 bag for the men’s FW20 series, arguably among their House’s most iconic bags with a genderless attitude. This new iteration of a house icon has been featured front and center in the Replica Gucci MX campaign.
The MX project is a hand-selected group of clothing and accessories with a gender fluid approach to fashion. The curation plays what we as people use, introducing masculinity and femininity as comparative concepts. Replica Gucci MX was created as part of a 5-year ingenious fantasy of Michele’s. The project’s launch is celebrated by celebrity Melek Zertal, at a comic strip specifically commissioned to celebrate the launching of Replica Gucci MX, the newest announced late last week on its own social channels. Shop the choice now available only on Replica Gucci.com. read more

It’s been over a year since the Celine Triomphe Bag popped on Celine’s website along with the rest of Hedi Slimane’s debut series for the brand. In that period the tote has gradually, but steadily found its way into the hands of a few of our favourite fashion stars. Selena Gomez, Angelina Jolie, Brie Larson, Emilia Clarke and Karlie Kloss have all been seen with the Triomphe bag in tow. When these VIP ladies take note, so do we, and while this isn’t the initial Celine by Hedi Slimane bag we’ve lusted after, it also likely will not be the final. The inside of the dual links signify two Cs and Celine’s founder immediately embraced it as a house logo, using it on bags, jewelry, in prints and on sneakers. The iconic house motif was adopted and reimagined by new creative director Hedi Slimane, appearing as the finishing touch on a classic silhouette, which we now know as the Triomphe Bag.
The mainline Triomphe comes in three sizes, though we photographed the medium in white, which retails for $3,550, and the red in the teen dimensions, which you may purchase for $3,100, both via Celine. This handbag is classically Celine, with updated colorways and cloths being released every season. The mainline Triomphe is crafted of a smooth, shiny calfskin leather that’s both luxurious looking, owing to its sheen, and incredibly soft. Though fragile, the leather, complete with the Triomphe hardware is what makes this easy, classic shape work.
Lined in lambskin, both dimensions of the Triomphe tote have a separated interior for maximum company, as well two inside pockets–a slit pocket and a zippered pocket. The strap is designed to be worn over the shoulder or crossbody as it is adjustable. The larger of the two works nicely for the everyday, though it is a bit on the smaller end for a regular bag with total dimensions of 9″ L x 6″ H x 3′ D. The teen size is perfect for the mini bag lover with dimensions of 7″ L x 6″ H x 2″ D. Discover more through Celine. read more

If you have been worried about what Slimane’s appointment as Phoebe Philo’s successor at Céline may mean for a new whose contemporary image has been based on the love and comprehension of real, live, working, mothering, fully functional adult professional girls, well, I am here for you. Slimane debuted his initial Céline (Celine? He struck the emphasis from the logo, but it’s unclear if it’s been taken out of the business name for a whole) set in Paris late last week, and now we must acknowledge he’s done what we always feared. He took his one and only thought, which is now still in the process of getting tired at Saint Laurent, and transposed it on his new employerdown to the purses. No matter what was there before remains.
In YSL, Slimane seldom place handbags on the runway, but in his introduction, we have a few out of him. They comprised an exotic variant of this Céline 16 Bag he sent out to the planet on Lady Gaga’s arm a few weeks ago, in addition to a saddle bag at the same design family. Those bags are nice, though a bit predictable and indistinctive, and even though they do not make me swoon, I have no real problem with them. Far worse would be the set’s flap bags, which feature a large C logo that manages to let you know that Slimane is attempting to make a joke about Chanel (as he did in Saint Laurent with its quilted bags), but also not provide anything positive from the way of aesthetics. It is only a large ol’ sans-serif C on a bag that’s, again, not especially distinctive without it.
The third part of the runway’s bag collection was a set of elongated flap clutches, reminiscent of a late-80s or early-90s aesthetic of that Slimane is frequently a fan. They were fine. That’s the best I could muster about this collection: parts of it were fine, others were not. I really don’t know anyone who works in fashion who had nicer things to say than that, and that I can not wait until Phoebe Philo resurfaces again, at a different brand, or perhaps her own. read more

It is no secret that Hedi Slimane’s very first collection for Celine wasn’t well received amongst trend fans. Perhaps it’s because, like many people, vogue folk are not keen on large shift, or perhaps it’s because the effect that Phoebe Philo left Celine and the fashion business as a whole was nothing short of legendary. Irrespective of the motive, in a immunity unlike some other, Celine fans began a boycott of types, and also the #OldCeline hashtag took on a life of its own. Lately I had been making my normal internet rounds as it dawned on me that I had not perused the Celine site in quite some time. My mantra towards Celine because Slimane has been appointed has kind of been a”nothing to see ” or”move together” type of mood, but unexpectedly a purse stopped me in my paths. I am sorry to admit this (really I am not really that sorry, I do not mind liking things which other folks don’t), but I believe I sort of just like a #NewCeline tote. Ok, I want to be fair I really do like a Celine by Hedi Slimane layout.
It is known as the little Besace 16 bag, and also something about it caught my attention. While I was not particularity a lover of this 16 bag initially, this cross-platform variant is really kind of, dare I say, adorable? I had been attracted to the slick hardware around the 16 tote and though the model was too big and ordered for my taste there was something about the traces of it I really could love. Shrunken right down into a miniature cross body model has me believing that I could really see myself wearing it. I like the curved shape and even though it’s small, the size is no smaller than some of those other bags that I use. The 1 drawback is that it’s remarkably expensive to get a teeny-tiny tote. The pure calfskin version featured previously will put you back $2,650 through Celine, whereas the satinated calfskin models below retail for $2,450. I like this tote best in dark. I believe that it’s super chic and exceptionally sleek looking. read more

Jenna Dewan-Tatum is swiftly becoming one of our round-up regulars. Here she is walking the red carpet at the premiere of Channing’s fresh sci-fi flick, Jupiter Ascending, taking out a shimmery brown clutch out of Rauwolf. Rauwolf is a NY-based accessories brand that specializes in handmade clutches that vend for around $1-2K. We’re already knowledgeable about the new spiked clutches and the Sweet Charity Shoulder Bag, and also the most recent addition to the Louboutin handbag family is your line of Passage bags. The Passage bags have been clearly famous for their arc-shaped enameled handles, which have been inspired by the architecture of their Galerie Véro-Dodat in Paris. For Spring 2015, we have something new to look forward to from the Passage handbag lineup: the Passage Shopping Fringe Tote. I had been lucky enough to take it for a test-drive. Similar to the other Passage bags, this tote features the signature arc-shaped grips together with all the”Louboutin” signature engraving at the base of the grip, in addition to a row of fringe on each gusset, providing it a enjoyable, bohemian feeling. The spacious interior features Louboutin’s signature red liner, along with one my favorite aspects of this bag: multiple compartments and a dividing skillet. My only complaint, however, is due to the hardware and fringe, the bag is a pinch heavy before I put anything once I added all of my things, however, it did not feel any heavier than my bags do.

  • It is perfectly blended with the brand’s identity, the most popular signature red lone. This boots are designed like shopping bag handles, a very uncommon yet creative inspiration from a lavish brand. I was able to package my digital camera, wallet and my cosmetics case, in addition to both my private phone and my work phone. Everything I had was all in one area, and that’s what made me love this tote even more.

  • Christian Louboutin recently launched, Men’s Tote Bag, Cabado, which is targeted at guys who are multi-taskers and constantly on the go. The tote was showcased at FW17. Cabado is deemed as a tote with a spin. Basically, it changes its shape as per the requirement. The tote can be transformed into a backback with a simple slide down of the straps.A typical Christian Louboutin merchandise, it is made from lush black leather. Another details are a substantial hand-finished ultra-black ecusson that is embellished and embroidered with metal studs and emblem details.Cabado’s camouflage appearance is deceptive. It appears slim however is spacious from inside. It has two storage chambers that are deliberately designed for the Louboutin Homme to remain organized even on the move. The tote has a reddish rubber base. It goes nicely with the Louboutin’s highly collectible sneakers. This hybrid combination is the tendency for the season. The designer high-end stiletto footwear with shiny, red-lacquered soles have become his signature style. Working for extended as an independent designer with various reputed style homes, the designer launched his very own shoe salon in Paris. The long list of celebrity clientele made him powerful and his layouts the most sought after. Over the years his label has forayed to other domains such as men’s footwear, fragrances, handbags, and makeup.

  • When I first saw it, I awed within the nail polish bottle and knew I had to have it. I have two of the Louboutin polishes, the purple color was a present and that I recently treated myself into the classic Rouge Louboutin red. The red bottle has a dark stage and is slightly longer than the purple bottle. The bottle replicates what Louboutin is known for in his sneakers, the gigantic high heels. The gloss itself is lovely, the brush is slim and leaves use smooth, pretty spotless and the formulation is thin, instead of thick and goopy. The gloss implemented well and using a fantastic top coat lasts me a week with no chips, I am wearing the red above.I just love the design of these, again they’re a stunning cosmetic beauty item, but of high quality I would re-purchase another colour. At #38 they are certainly not the cheapest, but given that I could spend 48 onto a gel manicure, this jar will last me numerous manicures instead of a couple of weeks and therefore I think that it’s worth it.At first I believed this was a gloss, but it is more of a lacquer, using a powerful shine. I picked this up at New York when I was buzzing around the shop buying everything through delight of just being in Sephora according to, when I discovered the Louboutin counter. It of course was likely more expensive in America, but I had been in New York so that it went straight in my basket. I fell in love with this sweet-smelling — seriously it smells like sherbet, lip lacquer. I chose the colour Akenana, which is a light nude pink and a fantastic casual colour. I’ve experienced this 2016 and it’s still going also, I don’t use it everyday but I’ve used it a lot. It comes in the most elaborate made casing, with a ribbon. I mean does it get more beautiful? It applies lovely and feels hydrating on lips too. It is shiny but not sticky in the slightest.

  • Christian Louboutin footwear has always been a favorite of mine, and I love and love the design & quality of his bits (even though it has a tendency to mean pain!) When he started his debut assortment of handbags and SLGs a little while ago, I wasn’t immediately rushing to buy…Whilst I admire the new when it comes to footwear, I believed he had to develop at the handbag area, before I was willing to devote the kind of cash that would otherwise buy me a Louis Vuitton, Gucci or a small Chanel.A few years and I have bought my first Louboutin SLG! It’s this lovely coin handbag / card holder, and I am completely enjoying it.The quality is just excellent, the design is amazing and I really do smile when I peer into my bag and see that item.Priced at just #185.00 once I purchased it at March 2016, I had noticed that Louboutin handbags & SLGs were now starting to pick-up on the pre-loved market. Maintaining their worth a lot more, presumably as earnings and religion have grown. So what am I saying?Well, I guess I am saying that now could be the opportunity to buy, buy, buy.Prices of his handbags & SLGs are still relatively low, compared to comparable things in the likes of Chanel, Fendi & Dior. Christian Louboutin took the world by storm with his shoes, he’s a very innovative man and likely has one of the very unique brands on the market. I believe the prices of his luggage will rise in no time. Also, from what I have seen at least, the bags and SLGs seem very durable so selling used ones won’t be that much of a issue. I might get that the Trictrac small myself, it seems quite helpful for carrying files around.

And as celebrity and earnings increase, I will observe prices (new and used) both rising.I consider that today is the time to spend in Louboutin SLGs and handbags. Christian Louboutin took the world by storm with his sneakers, he’s a very innovative man and likely has one of their most unique brands out there. I think that the costs of his luggage will rise in no time. Additionally, from what I have seen at least, the bags and SLGs seem quite durable so selling used ones will not be that much of a problem. I might get the Trictrac small myself, it seems very useful for carrying files around. read more

When I saw it, I awed over the nail polish bottle and knew I had to have it. I’ve two of the Louboutin polishes, the purple colour was a gift and that I recently treated myself to the classic Rouge Louboutin red. The red jar has a black point and is slightly longer than the purple bottle. The bottle replicates what Louboutin is famous for in his sneakers, the colossal high heels. The gloss itself is beautiful, the brush is slim and makes application smooth, pretty pristine and the formulation is thin, instead of thick and goopy. The gloss implemented well and using a good top coat lasts me a week without chips, I am wearing the red above.I just love the design of these, again they are a stunning decorative beauty thing, but of high quality that I would re-purchase a different shade. At #38 they are definitely not the cheapest, but given I could spend 48 onto a gel manicure, this jar will last me numerous manicures rather than a few weeks and therefore I think that it’s worth it.At first I believed this was a gloss, but it’s more of a lacquer, with a effective shine. I picked up this in New York when I had been buzzing around the shop purchasing everything through delight of only being in Sephora according to, once I found the Louboutin countertops. It of course was probably more expensive in America, but I had been in New York so it went directly in my own basket. I chose the color Akenana, which is a light nude pink and also a fantastic casual colour. I have experienced this 2016 and it’s still going also, I don’t use it everyday but I have used it a great deal. It comes from the many elaborate designed casing, using a ribbon. I mean does it get more beautiful? It applies lovely and feels hydrating on the lips too. It’s shiny but not sticky at all.
